🏛️ Hall Rental

Our Hall is available for both members and the public. Please note that we are a licensed facility and must adhere to strict health and safety regulations.

• Pricing (Member): $175.00 ($125.00 rental + $50.00 deposit) .

   

• Pricing (Non-Member): $225.00 ($175.00 rental + $50.00 deposit) .

   

• Booking: The deposit is required on the day of booking, with the final balance due the day before your rental .

   

• Alcohol Policy: Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted . Guests aged 21 or older may purchase beverages at the canteen bar .

   

• Kitchen Use: The kitchen is not included in the rental. Due to licensing and insurance, only licensed employees are permitted in the kitchen area .

   

• Decorations & Cleanup: Nothing may be glued, taped, pinned, or removed from the walls . Renters are responsible for their own setup, clearing tables, and taking trash to the dumpster .

   

• Deposit Refund: The $50.00 deposit is refunded if the hall is clean and all requirements are met .

   

🌳 Shelter House Rental

Enjoy the outdoors at our Shelter House. Renters assume full responsibility for the property and any damages during their term .

• Pricing: $150.00 rental fee plus a $100.00 deposit for both members and non-members .

   

• Setup & Cleanup: Renters must set up tables/chairs and return them to their original locations .

   

  • Note: Tables left in the grass will result in a $10.00 charge per table from your deposit .

     

• Facility Duties: Renters must sweep floors, place garbage in the dumpster, lock the water pump, and secure all doors and gates .

   

• Key Return: Keys must be returned and signed in by 10 AM the following morning to avoid forfeiture of the deposit .

   

• Liability: By signing the rental agreement, you release VFW Post 2480 from responsibility regarding the consumption of alcohol by legal adults or minors during your period .

   

🎯 Firing Range Rules

Safety is our absolute priority. Use of the range is a privilege reserved for those who follow all posted regulations.

• Eligibility: You must be a member of Post 2480 and show your membership card .

   

• Hours: 9 AM to Sunset .

   

• Age Requirements: Shooters must be 21 or older. Minors (18 and under) must be supervised by a parent or adult member who has signed our liability form .

   

• Firearm Safety:

  • All firearms must be unloaded with the action open when entering or leaving the property .

     

  • Actions must remain open at all times unless firing downrange at approved targets .

     

  • Follow the four basic rules of firearm safety at all times (Treat all guns as loaded, watch your muzzle, be sure of your target/backstop, and keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot) .

     

• Approved Ammunition & Firearms:

  • Allowed: All pistol calibers, shotguns (shot, buckshot, slugs), and straight-walled rifle cartridges approved by the Ohio ODNR for deer season .

     

  • Restricted: No bottleneck bullets larger than .223 caliber .

     

  • Prohibited: No Class III automatic weapons. No metal-piercing, incendiary, tracer, or exploding ammunition .

     

• Targets & Maintenance: Use paper targets only on the provided orange fencing or member-provided portable stands at appropriate heights . No shooting cans, glass, or pressurized containers .

   

• Cleanup: Collect your brass, shells, and hulls and dispose of them in the marked containers provided .

   

Important: Failure to comply with range rules or the destruction of property may result in the termination of range privileges and required reimbursement for damages .
